Over 40 years playing with rockets and I've never seen this before: cold-propellant rocket system.

The propellant mentioned is RP-100, also known as Difluorodichloromethane (aka Refrigerent-22 or Freon-22) which is no longer legal to use as it is a banned ozone deleting chemical not to be used nor released. I wonder if there is a safer modern, environmentally friendly equivalent?

Here is a bit more info and details of a kit. It kind of cool (forgive the pun!) and has some similarities with the approach to using hybrid motors.
