This form may be used by an individual to apply for an occupational authority (i.e. licence to use explosives, fireworks operator licence, shotfirer licence, explosives driver licence or licence to collect ammunition) in Queensland. This also includes new applications for mutual recognition of an interstate occupational authority (Where applicable. Excludes licence to collect ammunition).

Please note, this form is for new applications only. Only one licence application may be submitted per form.

If you intend to alter or transfer an existing licence please contact the Explosives Inspectorate.

If you intend to renew an existing licence, an application will be emailed to you approximately 3 months prior to the expiry of the licence. If you have not received your renewal application at least 1 month prior to expiry, please contact the Explosives Inspectorate.
